An escape game is a real-life experience where participants must use elements of the room, the group’s collective knowledge, and wits to discover clues, solve puzzles, and escape and/or achieve a specific task within a set amount of time.
All rooms have a release lever or button to open the main door. This procedure is explained before starting your game. Although the purpose of the experience is to solve clues in order to "escape" the room, you may leave and end your experience at any time.
The game time is set at a maximum 55 minutes, although some clever groups may escape faster. Including an intro and recap, the whole experience takes up to an hour and fifteen minutes. Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in.
Right now, all our escape rooms are private and require a minimum booking of 2 people. You will only play with the friends you bring along.
Right now, both of our games require a minimum booking for 2 people. However, you can play the room successfully with as few as 2 people or as many as 6. If you would like to bring more people than you booked, you can purchase additional tickets at your game. If you would like to schedule a game for 7 or more people, give us a call ahead of time or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
No, in fact, please leave as much as possible in your car. You will need to bring all your personal belongings, except for a coat, into the room for security purposes. We also have small lockers available in our lobby.
Yes! Typically groups need to be 10 people to be eligible for a discount. We also have a private lounge space available for parties and corporate events or team building activities. Call us or email email@example.com to get more information about group rates.
An adult must accompany anyone under 16 years of age.
Escape rooms can be challenging, but that's part of the fun! But don't worry: there's ways for you to get extra hints and help, and we don't limit the number of hints you can have. We also offer three levels of games: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert. Our "base game" is our Intermediate level, while other levels allow for slight modifications to our game to be made for different groups of players. We recommend Beginner for families with younger teens, Intermediate for newcomers to escape rooms or for people who have done a few rooms, and Expert for experienced escape room gamers. We will set up your game as an intermediate-level game unless you let us know you would prefer to play at a different level when making your booking.
Our rooms are uniquely crafted by our team, and designed for our players to have an original experience and gameplay, whether this be their first escape room or their hundredth. With few traditional lock puzzles, our puzzles require players to be actively aware of the narrative and participate in a series of activities related to their role (such as an FBI Agent or Paranormal Investigator) in the experience. Unlike most escape rooms, our games begin in our secondary lobby space, and players must figure out how to get into the room. Once there, players accomplish a specific narrative task (such as diffusing a weapon in THE LAB or freeing lost souls in THE QUEEN), and then escape. We also offer three levels of games: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert. This allows for slight modifications to our game to be made for different levels of players. Our "base game" is our Intermediate level.
